Alerts and Emails
The ability to use alerts and emails is included in the standard Restaurant ManagerTM POS software and has tremendous benefits to management and staff alike. With this functionality, managers can be alerted to situations that need their immediate attention without having servers leaving their stations. As a result, servers can spend more time caring for their customers instead of running around to find a manager when they need approval for a void or other check related issue.

There are two types of alerts; ‘pre-set’ alerts and ‘on-the-fly’ alerts. Your local reseller can provide you with more details on how to use alerts and emails as well as help you set them up in your system and train your staff.




Web Browser:

You can be Two Places at Once
The Restaurant Manager™ Browser Interface lets you be a hands-on manager no matter where you are located. You can access your Restaurant Manager POS system and reports using any standard Web browser for an up-to-the-minute picture of what’s happening with your business. You can monitor the real-time cost of sales, view the latest item deletions, and check which employees are still on the clock. It’s easy to view reports and print them to a local printer. And you can do all this from another restaurant or from your home office.

Your system security is guaranteed whether you dial in with a modem or use DSL or T-1 access. User-defined security levels and passwords ensure that only authorized personnel have remote access to the system. Your access of the system goes undetected on-site, even though you are gathering and viewing data in real time.

Restaurants using the Restaurant Manager solution have the ability to add Pay-at-the-Table functionality to their system. Using a printer attachment to the Write-On handheld, servers can complete a credit card transaction at the table – in plain view of the customer – and print a receipt so that the card never leaves the customer’s hands

Pay at the Table is ideal for full service restaurants, stadiums, cocktail bars and other hospitality environments where payment is currently processed at a central location, far from the customer’s view.
